Transcription Workflow
AbbaDox optimizes dictation/transcription processes are for better results, turn-around and efficiency. The system divides an organization’s reports into various workflow bins, providing a clear, real-time reflection of your work status. Transcription workflows are customized for each client, depending on your organization’s preferences and established procedures.
Electronic Signature
Electronically signed documents can display the provider's signature superimposed on completed reports or show a text line to indicate that the document has been electronically signed.
Workflow Bins
Reports displayed in bins are filtered according to the user and his or her role. For instance, administrators can see every report in production, whereas doctors typically only see their particular cases or studies.
The following is a brief description of the workflow bins available in AbbaDox:
Pending Dictation
Indicates cases awaiting dictation, based on interfaces with a scheduling system or orders created using AbbaDox's order entry window.
Waiting for Review
Depending on your internal processes, this bin can serve multiple uses including dual signatures, report review by office staff prior to doctor sign off, and bin for reports flagged due to blanks.
Waiting for Approval
For facilities that require a third review stage as part of their workflow, such as billing departments, or for complex workflows such as IME reporting.
Waiting for Signature
Transcribed reports awaiting electronic signatures. These reports can be signed, edited or rejected.
Signed Documents
Displays reports completed within the last 24 hours.
