IDS can produce reports via:
- IDS or In-house Typists – You have the choice of using our expert team of typists, your own in-house staff or a combination of the two.
- Template-based Structured Reporting – IDS allow practitioners the ability use their own Normals for creating faster and lower cost reports. These can be produced via phone dictation, with a simple point-and-click computer application or using voice recognized commands.
- Speech Recognition and Report Editing – Physicians can decide whether to self-edit or have their dictations interpreted by our speech recognition engine and edited by a transcriptionist.
Physicians may dictate into a digital hand-held device, Phillips® SpeechMike® or using our toll-free dictation line. Upon completion of the reports, facilities can automatically distribute the reports back to referring physicians via fax, e-mail or restricted access to our online workflow platform.
The centerpiece of our services is AbbaDox, a Web-based workflow, distribution and archival platform that enables truly paperless processes. In addition to helping healthcare professionals manage their transcription reports, AbbaDox also includes online patient charts, an integrated search engine, lab interfaces, custom reporting, and detailed audit and activity logs.
