Structured Reporting

Voice2Dox lets users apply structured reporting as a point-and-click alternative to dictated reporting, enabling radiologists and providers to easily create final reports using any combination of templates, normals and free-typed text.

Templates for each study are customized based on the physician and study modality or procedure type.  When a normal is selected an editing window appears in Voice2Dox for viewing and editing the report.  Any blanks in the normal are highlighted and can be populated based on pre-determined quantities or manual entry.

In addition to editing normal text, radiologists and providers can dynamically inject paragraphs and normal phrases – called Snippets – from a clipboard of their own commonly used text.  Snippets can be viewed prior to insertion, and can be placed anywhere in the structured report.

The structured reporting component of Voice2Dox greatly improves report quality and speed of communication between providers and referring physicians.  In addition, because this process bypasses transcription and speech recognition systems, the overall cost of the report is significantly reduced.
