Reforma, our dynamic forms management system lets facilities and practices of any size quickly produce bar-coded documents to automate their scanning and routing process and reduce the time-consuming prepping, QA, manual scanning, indexing and filing of patient documentation.
By interfacing directly with billing and scheduling systems, Reforma instantly generates intake forms and other relevant documents automatically populated with the appropriate patient and provider information. Once the documents have been completed, they are placed in a scanner where the unique barcodes tell the automated system what they are where they need to go.
Reforma Features:
- Smart Printing – Office staff can now batch print all relevant documents for a particular date of service collated by patient. The system automatically selects and queues documents according the type of visit, and allows the user to preview and make exceptions before printing.
- Bar-coded Labels – Users can now produce bar-coded labels to also automate the scanning and routing of external documents such as pathology results, faxes and other correspondence.
- More Compact Barcodes – A new barcode format has an even smaller footprint and can be placed vertically or horizontally anywhere on the page, increasing available white space.
- Integration with AbbaDox® Worklist – Bar-coded forms can now be printed through the company’s popular AbbaDox workflow portal through the Pending Cases bin – a work list of patient visits that enables users to select the desired method of documentation for each patient encounter, including speech recognition, a template or normal, or an electronic form.
- Routing Codes – A unique routing code printed directly below the barcode now allows users to manually index and route documents in the event that a barcode is rendered unreadable by a pen mark or another mishap.
Providers can standardize their forms and processes, deciding what information should appear and where, and which forms should be automatically produced for different types of patient visits.
Organizations can print the documents in advance and/or on demand, in bulk or individually with no bar coding experience. The barcodes identify the patient, the type of document and the date of service. When scanned, the barcodes are interpreted by ScanDox and the forms are automatically routed into the proper patient chart.
